再证《古本水浒》后50回非施耐庵所作——前70回与后50回用语调查

The Authorship of the Last 50 Episodes of The Early Edition of Water Margin Does Not Belong to Shi Naian:A Further Proof

现在书店所出售的《古本水浒》或《古本水浒传》，均为１９３３年上海中西书局所出《古本水浒》之翻版。前面附有梅寄鹤之《〈古本水浒〉序》，指称该书后５０回为施耐庵之续作。现代版则附有当代学者蒋祖纲先生之“前言”，强调梅氏之古本与施氏原本“前后高度的统一”，从而证明前后文应属同一人所撰，即宣称后５０回也是施耐庵氏之作。几家出版社也都径题全书（当然包括后五十回）为“施耐庵著”。在穷尽调查的基础上，在作了大量地统计和比较研究之后，本文详细论证了前７０回与后５０回在用词和句式等七个方面的差异，结论是：后５０回与前７０回既然有这么多而又这么大的差异，因此决非出自同一人之手。将后５０回也说成是“施耐庵著”。

Abstract The Early Edition of Water Margin,sold in bookstores currently,is actually a reprinted copy of the novel with the same title published by Shanghai Zhong Xi Publishing House in 1933.Mei Jihe prefaced the 1933 edition,noting that the last 50 episodes,just as the first 70,were also written by Shi Naian.In the recently published edition,Mr.Jiang Zugan,a contemporary scholar,who wrote the Foreword,claims that the early edition prefaced by Mei Jihe and the original version by Shi Naian are“highly identical.”In other words,the first 70 and the last 50 episodes were written by the same writer Shi Naian.Several other publishers also attribute the authorship of the entire novel to Shi Naian.In this survey,which is conducted on the basis of a large quantity of statistics and comparative research,the author elaborates on the differences in diction and word order etc.,between the first 70 and the last 50 episodes,and comes to the conclusion that the first 70 and the last 50 episodes could not have possibly been written by the same writer as there were so many differences between these two parts.Thus it is not appropriate to say that the last 50 episodes of the novel were written by Shi Naian.
