管理、领导概念异同辨析—— 一对核心概念的基础研究

Discrimination in Similarities and Differences Between the Concepts of Management and Leadership

管理、领导是管理科学、领导科学的核心范畴，两者既有联系又有区别。本文对现行管理与领导概念的表述作了逻辑分析，并从三个方面研究两者的关系。从广义或外延层次看两者具有相等性；从狭义角度看两者有本质差异，领导就是决策，管理就是对决策的执行；从两者广义和狭义的混合关系看，领导是高层次的管理。

Abstract As management and leadership are the core categories of managing and leading science,there are not only relations but also distinctions between them.This article gives a logical analysis of the current definition of the concepts of management and leadership and studies the relationship between them in three aspects.In the aspect of generalization or extension,there is equality between them.However,in a narrower sense,essential distinctions exist,that is,leadership means policy making,whereas management is the implementation of the policy.Therefore,from their mixed relations in both the extensive and narrower senses,it can be concluded that leadership is the higher level management and management the lower level leadership.
