论弘扬以爱国主义为原则的统战“法宝”

On the Development of the Formula of the Patriotic United Front

爱国主义是中华民族赖以生存发展的精神支柱。古往今来，爱国主义都是我国统一战线的原则；现在要建设有中国特色社会主义的宏伟事业，同样必须有个最广泛的统一战线。当前弘扬爱国统战“法宝”必须解决三个问题，即注重求同存异，形成“和合”之力，发挥民主党派和名人的历史作用，重视海外华人和友人的力量。

Patriotism is the spiritual prop for the Chinese nation to live and develop by.Throughout the ages,patriotism has been the principle of the united front of our country.Nowdays we're building the socialism with Chinese characteristics,we need a broader united front.At the present time, to develop the formula of the patriotic united front,we should make great efforts on the following three aspects——seeking the common ground while reserving differences and forming the power of harmonious union;bringing the historic use of democratic parties and well-known figuers into full play;attaching importance to the power of overseas Chinese and friends.
