The Management Philosophy in the Knowledge Society

对于人类本质的认识 ,是任何管理活动的前提。在人类社会进入 2 1世纪的时候 ,适应“知识社会”管理的需要 ,取代以往的“政治人”、“经济人”假设 ,必须确立“人是文化动物”的认识 ,并在管理历史、管理文化、管理精神整合的基础上 ,进行相应的管理理念的更新 ,以“变化”为管理的前提 ,以“创新”为管理的动力 ,以“整体”为管理的模式 ,以“和谐”为管理的形态 ,从而推进人类管理的进步。

The cognition of human nature is the essential prerequisite for any management activities. Human beings are “cultural animals”——that is a scientific hypothesis about human nature. We must renew the ideas concerning management in the 21 st century. The author of this paper, in reviewing the history, culture and spirit of management, advances a new theory, with emphasis on the management of changes, innovation, wholeness and harmony. That is the management philosophy in the knowledge society.
