The Cultural Spirits of Chinese Classical Poetry

中国古典诗歌是古代先民精神追求、情感生活、生存方式的符号体系和信息储存。中华文化以仁为核心的根本精神一直贯穿在中国古典诗歌的发展历程中，使中国古典诗歌的文化精神突出体现为民胞物与、国身通一、天人合一三大精神。同时，中华文化又在思维方式、语言表达、人际交往、社会风习和文学创作等方面被中国古典诗歌“诗化”，体现出乐感文化的特征。

Chinese classical poetry is a system of signs and symbols. It embodies the spiritual pur-suit, emotional life arid the way of living on the part of our ancestors. The basic spirit of Chineseculture, which has benevolence as its core, runs throughout the development of Chinese classicalpoetry, which is characterized by three cultural spirits, i. e. , loving people and approachingthings, binding the motherland and individual, uniting nature and human. Meantime, Chineseculture is ``poetized'' by Chinese classical poetry in the fields of thinking, language use, interper-sonal relations, social customs and literary creation, etc. , which embodies the characteristics of arhythmic culture .
