考察人的发展，要从考察人的劳动入手，把对人的考察放入历史的进程。最初的社会形态里，由于分工不发达，人的活动是浑然融合的，人与自然对象性条件的自然一体性，使人的发展境界呈现一种“圆满境界”；随着分工的发展，这种圆满被打破，导致了人和劳动的片面发展。

To study the development of mankind,one has to start with the investigation of their labour,bring the study of man into the progress of history.In primary societies,due to the underdevelopment of the division of labour,human activities had been harmonious with the nature.The natural integration of man and natural object had madc human progress present a kind of 'satisfactory state'.With the development of the division of labour,this kind of satisfaction was broken,and resulted in the one sided development of man and labour,and caused the contradiction between the progress of social civilization and a high degree of one-sided development of individual human beings.
