台湾和祖国大陆在产业上具有很强的互补互利性。1978年以来，两岸经贸交流成果颇丰，为了进一步发挥互补优势，更好地发展两岸经济，双方均应积极创造条件。祖国大陆要进一步改善投资环境，完善有关法律法规，切实保护台商利益；台湾当局则必须抛弃“两个中国”或“一中一台”，这是稳定两岸关系，充分发挥各方经济潜力的关键。

The industries between Taiwan and China's Mainland are forcefully complementary and and beneficial For better economic development of the two sides, we must create conditions positively China's Mainland should further improve investment circumstances andconsummate laes and regulations. The authonities in Taiwan have to abandon'Two Chinas'or 'One Chinas' or 'One China,One Taiwan'. This is thekey to preservation of stable cross－strait relations and to bring all economic potentialities of the two sides into full platy.
