This paper analyses the new archaeological findings in the area Izumo of Japan in many respects as indicated in the relics, customs and believes in both Japanese and Yue Cultures. It aims at the relation between the 'Realm of Izumo' in Japanese mythology and the eastward emmigration of the Chinese Yue clan. It stresses the influence of the Japanese snake belief derived from the Yue culture due to their eastward emmigration. Besides, it reveals the historical fact of the eastward spread of the Chinese Yue Culture before the Han Dynasty and the activities of the ancient Yue clan between the north of Kitakiuxiu and the west coast of Japan.
