文字学的动态方法

The Dynamic Study of Characters

本文主张研究文字学应采用动态的方法，就是把汉字放到动态的演变过程中去观察，从而弄清字形的来龙去脉，正确把握它的意义和发展趋向。认为动态研究可以克服静态研究的弊端，使文字学里大部分悬而未决的问题得到今人满意的解决。并运用动态方法对汉字的创造过程重新做了解释，从八个方面论述了采用动态方法的意义。

The present paper argues that philology research shoulld be conducted in dynamic method,i. e. to observe the Chinese characters in the process of change in order to reveal the development of the words so as to understand their meaning accurately and predict their tendency. The paper beliveves that dynamic study can make up the defect of stative study and has provided some satisfactory answers to those unsolved problems. Finally,the paper has proposed a new explanation for the process of the character--creation and discussed the significance of the method in eight aspects.
