The Trends of Irrationalism and Literature of Modernism

本文简析现代西方哲学和美学中的非理性主义思潮对西方现代派文学的影响，指出这种影响不只是为现代派文学提供文化背景和理论基础。

By giving a brief analysis of the influence of the trends of irrationalism in modern Western philosophy and aesthetics upon Western literature of modernism, the present paper points out that this influence supplies a cultural background and theoretical basis to modernism, on the one hand. But, on the other, it is more important that it forms a unique skill of expression and unique quality and style of thought.
