The Development Orientation of Communications and Transportation in Macao after Its Return to China

简要分析澳门经济与交通发展状况，从航空运输、陆路交通、海上运输３ 方面阐述澳门回归后交通运输业的发展路向， 指出澳门交通运输业的发展必须利用好现代化的国际机场， 尽快与内地公路和铁路网衔接， 加强与珠海港口的合作， 在珠海建立有专用通道沟通澳门的保税码头。

Proceeding from briefly analyzing Macao′s development of economy and communications, this paper dwells on the development orientation of communications and transportation from such three perspectives as air transportation, overload communications, and marine transportation and points out that to develop its communications and transportation, Macao must take good advantage of its modernized international airport, facilitate its linkage with the Mainland′s highways and railways, strengthen its co-operation with the port of Zhuhai and establish a special passage in Zhuhai to lead to Macao′s bonded wharf, etc. These measures will supply material guarantee for Macao′s future higher-level economic growth.
