站在世纪之交的历史关口,作为经济大省——江苏的省会和长江流域四大中心城市之一的南京,必须抓住历史发展机遇,按照优化、升级和开放的目标加快经济结构调整,这已成为全市各界人士的共识.在市委市政府的领导下,经过大家共同努力,南京的经济结构调整取得了较大进展,呈现出良好势头.我们认为,在继续调整经济结构的过程中还要充分重视金融深化的意义和作用,因为在高度货币化的现代社会。

Standing at the gate of 21 century, Nanjing as the capital of Jiangsu province and one of most important cities along Yangtzi River, must catch the historical opportunity to optimize her economic structure. The author think, in the process of economic structure adjustment, we should devote much attention to financial development. Because in the highly mone-tarilized society, financial development is the important content of economic structure adjustment, and economic structure adjustment could go ahead healthfully with the support provided with financial development. Based on this consideration, the author analyzes the present situation of financial development and economic structure adjustment in Nanjing, and makes some suggestions for optimizing Nanjing e-conomic structure from the aspect of financial development.
