Abstract The study of women's history,both in the U.S.and in other western countries,has strong political characteristics,yet,few scholar ponders deeply over it.The article,from the social and academic background,and from theoritical and empirical perspectives,analyses the political trend in the field.In the conclusion,the author points out that the political feature in the study will be weakened,because the sexism will be gradually reduced from social life in the long run,and more important,because women as a gender group,they share neither common political goal nor common economic interests.
