秦始皇的“书同文”使书体统一了，汉字的基本构架写法确定了，这是书法发生和发展的基础。尔后，秦隶带出了笔意，章草形成了书势，至东汉隶书，笔笔有法，字字合度，中国书法从此发扬光大。

Abstract The First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty ordered that the written language be standardized,thus fixing the basic structure of the Chinese characters as well as the way of writing.This is the foundation for the germination and development of Chinese calligraphy.Later,the Li script of the Qin Dynasty brought out the artistic sentiment in writing,and the Zhang Cao(cursive script for memorials)built up the momentum.By the Eastern Han Dynasty,the Li script had already had its own principles for writing,and every character had a proper structure.Since then,Chinese calligraphy has gone on the path of development and perfection.
