Abstract To promote US interests,Roosevelt pursued the Open Door policy toward China.However,with the competition first from Russia and then from Japan,he betrayed the“Chinese Integrity”doctrine again and again.In analyzing this process,the author discloses the imperialist nature of Roosevelt's China policy.
