Abstract In the Buddhist Texts boz denoted a texile suitable for the writting of Buddhist texts and painting pictures of Buddhist figures. As we learn from these texts , boz is woven on a loom with woof and warp. lt can even be used for making clothing for the Buddha , Bod- hisattvas , monks , etc. Therefore , boz must have been a highly valuable cloth.
