D.' Zhi'and ' Zhifu'are the different meaning of the two words. The families under the rule of the Guiyi Army should hand in firewood whose amount were according to the families cultivated area. If the families were on active service for the govennment for the fixed time or more, they could exempt from firewood. The collection units of the fire- wood were lanes and mass organizations.
