The paper first reviews the current structure of the CCSDS recommendations on telemetry , telecomand and AOS. It then discusses the structure of the restructured recommendations, analyzes the principal features of the restructured ones and the differences between the current ones. After that, it introduces the space packet protocols and the space data link protocols in detail. Finally it shows how the restructured recommendations can be used with other protocols in end-to-end space data systems.
