Abstract America's bilateral economic relationships with foreign countries can be analyzed on three levels. On the first level the article explores the bilateral trade relations that will benefit both parties and are yet restricted by the relatively short cycle of capital operation in the commercial area. On the second level, it discusses the development of direct investment which will promote the formation of long-term and stable economic relations and are yet controlled to a given extent by the distribution of the productive forces and even the economic structure in the recipient country. On the highest level, it discovers the all-round involvement of banking capital where the tremendous amount of capital with the amplifying effect will stimulate not only both economies but also other countries and even the whole world.
