Intranet Based Management Information System and Decision Support Systems

由国际互联网络的发展而产生的Intranet，为信息系统提供了一个新的、优良的网络通信计算机软硬件平台。在简要介绍国际互联网以及Intranet基本概念和特点的基础上，分析传统的管理信息系统在开发和应用中所面临的主要问题和困难，讨论基于Intranet的管理信息系统的主要特点，分析研究基于Intranet的决策支持系统的功能和特点。

Intranet has swiftly emerged as the development of Internet, which provides a new excellent platform of net communication and computer software and hardware for information system.In the paper,the basic concepts and characteristics of the Internet and Intranet briefly briefly introduced.Then the difficulties and problems faced by traditional Management Information System (MIS) are analysed, and the main characteristics of the Intranet based MIS are discussed.The functions and characteristies of Intranet based Decision Support Systems (DSS) are analysed and studied. The functions of the group decision support of the intranet based DSS are the analysed. It has a important theoretical and practical significances for the developments and applications of the MIS and DSS.
