摘要
墓葬位于南京中华门外铁心桥乡大定坊司家山南侧山坡,此地自1984年以来先后发掘了7座六朝墓葬。
Located at Sijiashan where lies the family cemetery of the Xies of the late Eastern Jindynasty,a total of 37 tombs of the Six Dynasties have been excavated since 1984,of whichthat of Xie Wen's is coded M5. Robbed in early years, the tomb is a single-chambered brick structure with a tunneland measuring 7.8 m in total length. The yielded funerary objects include celedon and pot-tery ware, such as the vase with a mouth in the form of a disc or rooster head. The epitaphrested in the tunnel is broken and the inscription, although largely illegible, tells that thetomb owner is Xie Wen who was buried in the second year of the Yixi reign period of theEastern Jin dynasty (402).
