摘要
The northern Song tomb,located at bongcun Village.Xin’an County,Henan Provinceis a brick-structed tomb in imitation of wood structure.It consists of tomb passage,ightwell，side chamber and main chamber，etc．There are a big number of painted brick cary ings inside the main chamber.The carvings methods focus on relievo,bas─relievo and cuttug.Besides the carvings of ordinary doors,windows and"husband and wife having dinners",there are nearly 30 pieces of completely different poeny brick relieves,including peony in basin,floral sprays and poeny bloosom.On the basis of coins unearthed and specification of the tombs,e infer that the tomb is of middle period (Shenzong Reign and Zhenzong Reign)of Northern Song Dynasty.The excavating of it offers valuable materials forthe study on architecture,relievo and decoration fashion of Peony motif in Song Dynasty．
