AbstractThe article points out that for the travel services with very high comprehensive utility of the market information in the tourism industry,the internet techniques are threatening the basis of the travel services.Different form the counterparts in the advanced developed countries,the travel services in China have not felt the pressure from the internet yet.It is due to their low utility of the computers,the limited influence from related industries,the uncompleted formation of the benign competition system of home,and the unformed pressure exerted by the international market on the travel services.The author holds that the internet techniques provide China's travel services with an excellent means for marketing and sales,and he raises some practical suggestions in this regard.
