Abstract The author expounds his views of the general problems that exist in the course of the tourism development in many places in our country at present ——the problems of the neglect of the cultural nature of tourism and of the practical conditions of tourism development.Although those views are not new,the author is an experienced tourism worker,and so his deep thoughts on the guidelines about tourism development are no doubt of great significance for our understanding of tourism development.
