Abstract Located in the neighbourhood of Beijing,Yesanpuo is a county which has got rid of poverty of the inhabitants by means of tourism.In 1991,some researchers made an investigation on the influences exerted by the tourism development in the area on the society,economy and culture.After 6 years,the author made the pursuing investigation of the villagers with such columns as the economic status,economic ideology and consumer tendency,aesthetics tendency,human relations,marriage and family,and the comprehensive judgement of the social influences of tourism by the local inhabitants.The conclusion drawn from the investigation has some points in common with the relevant researches made abroad,and also has something different.
