语言学与失语症研究之间存在着密切关系。一方面，失语症研究需要语言学的理论支持，语言学不仅为失语症患者语言障碍的描述、分析以及理论的建立提供基本术语和理论基础，而且还被应用在失语症患者语言功能的康复过程中。另一方面，失语症研究也可以促进语言学的发展，因为失语症研究既为语言学理论提供了一个有效的验证基础，也是语言学的一个重要理论来源。探讨两者之间的关系。

Abstract Aphasiology is closely related with linguistics. On the one hand aphasiology not only derives from linguistics a vocabulary and theoretical basis for the precise description and analysis of language and insight into the aphasics’ language disorders but also makes researchers of aphasia have a more profound understanding of language structure and function, which is useful in the rehabilitation of aphasics’ language abilities. On the other hand, aphasiology can greatly promote the development of linguistics, since it provides an effective basis for testing linguistic theories as well as an important source of hypotheses. The discussion on the relationship between linguistics and aphasiology throws some light on the nature of neurolinguistics.
