调整语话语初探

A tentative study of foreigner talk discourse

本文对在第二语言习得或外语学习过程中所出现的特殊语言变体——调整语——作了初步探讨。全文涉及到调整语的性质、特征、种类、所使用的层面、与其他“简单代码”的相似点和相异点及其在自然语言环境中出现的理由和方式。

This paper has made a tentative study of the nature, the characteristics and the types of the peculiar language variety —— foreigner talk (FT), the levels at which it is used, the similarities and differences between FT and some other “simple codes”, and why and how FT occurs in natural settings with special emphasis on foreigner talk discourse (FTD) in a second language acquisition or foreign language learning environment.
