Twenty Years of Evolving a Theory for China's Market Economy Reform

中国经济体制改革是在邓小平理论指导下进行的。市场经济理论是建设中国特色社会主义经济的最基本内容。二十年改革实践就是市场化改革理论从计划经济为主、市场调节为辅，经过有计划商品经济到市场经济的过程。这一理论也必将在新的改革实践中继续发展。

The reform of China's economic system has been undertaken with Deng Xiaoping's theory as guidelines. The theory of the market economy is the fundamental concept in cultivating peculiarities of a socialist economy in China. Reform practice for the past 20 yearsis a process from first ensuring the leading role of the planned economy supplemented by market regulation and then proceeding through the planned commodity economy to the market economy. The theory will be further fleshed out in the coming reform.
