尽管150年来世界形势发生了巨大的变化，但《宣言》基于唯物史观所揭示的基本原理仍然是完全正确的。观察社会问题必须立足于经济发展的现实状况，进行社会变革的手段也只能从生产发展的现成物质事实中去寻找；生产关系一定要适合生产力性质的规律推动社会的发展与进步，实现占有的社会化必须以应具备的物质条件为基础；实现共产主义是基于社会发展客观规律的科学预言，无产阶级及其政党肩负着建设理想社会的历史使命。这些都是今天观察社会问题和指导社会变革的重要思想武器。

The basic principle of 'Manifesto of the Communist Party' based on historical materialism is still quite correct though the world situation has greatly changed in the past 150 years. When we observe social problems,we must base ourselves on economic realities and we can find the way of practicing social reform only in material realities. The law that relations of production must conform to the nature of the productive forces is pushing society ahead and socialization of possession must be based on materials. Communism is a scientific prediction based on the objective law of social development; the proletariat and its party are destined to take up the historical mission of setting up an ideal society. All these constitute an ideological weapon for observing social problems and guiding social reform.
