无“根”之累——中国新文学与传统文学精神关系试论

On the Spiritual Relationship between New Chinese Literature and Chinese Traditional Literature

中国新文学主体源流出自西方文化和西方文学而非中国传统民族文学，这先天性地决定了它的无“根”性。在它此后的发展历程中，虽然有过短暂的“寻根”尝试，但政治社会因素阻滞了这一路途的深入。最终，在９０年代商品经济的冲击下，它尽显颓危之色，面临失去大众也失去自己的双重危机。回归，不是回到传统文学，而是承续与中华民族精神紧密关联的传统文学精神。只有承延上中国传统文学精神这一民族文学之“根”，中国新文学才可能走出颓境重现生机。

Abstract The theme of the article is to study the internal spiritual source of New Chinese Literature. New Chinese Literature derived from Western culture and literature instead of Chinese traditional literature. This leaded to its“no root” prenatally. In the development of its later evolution, New Chinese Literature tried to find its root, but ended without fruit because of social and political factors. As a result, under the influence of the commercial economy of the 1990s, New Chinese Literature has shown its declining tendency, and confronted with the crisis losing the reading public and itself. Retrospection is not to return to Chinese traditional literature, but to inherit the spirit of Chinese traditional literature which related to the Chinese nation's spirit. Only inheriting the root of Chinese traditional literature, can New Chinese Literature find its way out of its dilemma and come to a new life.
