本文从香港特别行政区基本法的法律宗旨、法律结构体例、法律的时间、空间和对人效力、法律解释权等四个方面，论述了基本法的法律特征。

In order to have a comprehensive and accurate understanding of th basic law and welcome the handover of Hong Kong, the legal characteristisc of the Basic Law is analysed from the following four aspects regarding the Basic Law:its legal objective in Hong Kong special Administrative District, its structure, its time space and effcct on th people and the right of its interpretation.
