宗教是社会稳定的重要因素，它通过对客体层面的政治、经济、思想文化等社会因素，及主体层面的作为历史活动的人的影响，转而影响社会稳定。宗教自身的复杂性，决定其社会功能的多样性、复杂性，故它对社会稳定的影响也是复杂而多样的。这就要求全面正确理解马克思主义宗教观点，全面贯彻执行我国的宗教政策。

Religion is an important element for social stability. Its impact on social stability is realised through its influences upon both the objective social elements like politics, economy and ideology and the subjective historical man. Religion's complexity results in its diversity and complexity in social functions. So its influences upon social stability is complicated and diversified. It demands complete and correct understanding of Marxist views of religions, implements our country's policy for religious affairs, and guide religions to serve the social stability.
