Traditional Chinese Way of Economic Increase Viewed by Westerners in China in 1830s

１９世纪３０年代在华西人对中国国情的探研中，围绕中国传统经济增长方式问题，对中国传统经济增长方式的一些突出特征和该增长方式停滞不变的原因进行了一定的论述。

Abstract In their works of China studies in 1830s,Westerners who then resided in China dwelled,to a certain extent,on the prominent characteristics of the traditional Chinese way of economic increase and examined the reasons why this way remained unchanged.The present paper analyzes and explains their viewpoints.
