中国当前的离婚态势

本文以最新的离婚统计资料为据,对当前中国的离婚状况和离婚发展趋势进行了客观的描述和分析。作者认为离婚率的上升是社会发展中的一种必然现象。虽然未来中国的离婚率将继续上升,但上升是缓慢、稳定和有限度的,离婚水平在世界上仍然处于很低的水平。究其主要原因是:中国历来有注重婚姻家庭稳定的传统;造成目前离婚增多的各种原因正在发生变化,有的原因已经受到抑制;抑制离婚的社会因素和家庭因素将对婚姻稳定产生越来越大的影响;从而将提高婚姻的质量和加强夫妻的关系;在离婚人口增加的同时,再婚人口也在增加,中国的婚姻家庭在总体上是稳定和健康的。我国婚姻的前景是,人们在有关婚姻和家庭问题上已经并将享有越来越广泛的选择权与自主权。

This paper examines the levels and trends in Chinese divorce rate since the founding of the People's Republic. While rising divorce rate is an inevitable phenomemon in societal development , Chinese divorce rate remains very low among the countries of the world despite its increasing trend. A comparison is made between the currently ongoing third divorce boom and the former two with respect to the duration, age, sex, occupation, and regional characteristics. Influencing factors, policy implications and future prospects are discussed.
