Some Thoughts on the Idealism in Philosophy

本文对哲学上的唯心主义问题提出了一系列与传统不同的看法,认为哲学本体论意义上的唯心主义,不仅可划分为主、客观唯心论之别,还可以就解决本体论问题的认识方法和价值取向给予进一步的分类;并进而指出,客观唯心论向主观唯心论的转化是古代哲学向近现代哲学发展的历史趋势,这是由社会历史变迁中的价值观与认识论的发展所决定的;此外,本文还对唯心主义的划界标准及其意义和局限作出了与流行观点不同的分析,并就这些方面进行了初步的探讨和论证,以期引起争鸣。

The paper consists chiefly of a series of unconventional views on the idealism in philosophy, which can be boiled down to: idealism in the ontological sense can not only be divided into subjective and objective idealisms, but can also be further divided and classified in light of the cognition and value toward the solution of the ontological problem in philosophy. The paper further argues that the evolution from objective idealism to subjective idealism represents the tendency in which the ancient philosophy develops into modern philosophy, which is predetermined by the development of the value concept and the cognition theory in the general evolution of social history. Besides, the author also makes some unconventional analysis, differing from the prevailing views, concerning the criteria for delimiting the idealism, the significance and the limitation of idealism, and has conducted some initial investigation thereon with a view to giving rise to polemics.
