Historical Data Shedding Light on the History of Kapisa

序有关从阿富汗到巴基斯坦西北部整个地区伊斯兰化之前的历史,可分三个区域来研究。第一区域为阿姆河上、中游流域,第二区域为喀布尔河流域,第三区域为赫尔曼德-阿尔冈达布流域。而从喀布尔河流域到赫尔曼德-阿尔冈达布流域却有过两种都受外来势力支配的历史。第一种是该地区视东部(印度)或西部(伊朗)所示势力大小被并入其中一方版图,或者处于东西双方均势之下的历史。第二种是第一区域的势力南下后,立足于第二区域,进而征服印度的历史。这两种类型历史的前后分界线可以定在巴克特里亚势力南下之时。

Basing on the material furnished by Chinese historical works and the records handed downby Buddhist pilgrims, and in the light of early Islamic sources and archaeological evidence, thispaper examines minutely tile pre-7th century history of Kapisa, with special reference to the vicis-situdes of Buddhism in this region as well as the location of the various Buddhist remains and theirchanges.
