太空武器是美苏日内瓦谈判争执的核心、研究和发展太空武器,美苏各有千秋。美苏目前都在加紧研制各自的太空系统,要它们达成停止竞赛的协议,是非常困难的,但也不排除经过讨价还价后,达成某种暂时妥协的可能,即或如此,谈判也将是旷日持久的。

Space weapon is the focus of the currentUS-Soviet dispute.Each of the superpowers in its own way has gained ground in theresearch and development of space weaponry.At the present,as both the US and Sov-iet Union are working with might and main to devise their respective space systems,it appears very difficult for them to reach an agreement to stop the race.Yet,the pos-sibility of arriving at a modus vivendi after hard bargaining,is not ruled out.Evenso,the negotiations are bound to be long drawn and protracting.
