One of excellent traditions of Chinese Communist Party is to devote much attention to social science and humanity researches.Moreover,this article describes major aspects to develop humanity and social sci- ence,that is,main efforts,assurance of its orientation,significant breakthrough of fundamental theories,ap- plied projects,resources exploitation and vigorous organization to contribute to the central role of Chongqing in humanity and social science research of West China.
