In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,economy developed rapidly and urban construction was prosperous and perfect.In this background,the textiles which the women lived on in the small town was essentially different from the one that the rural women lived on.This article discusses the characteristics of the textiles of town women and the changes of their daily lives,family status and awakening of their independent awareness,and then reveals the real reason for this series of the change.
