Although discrimination encountering female college students has been an issue in public discourse, female students themselves seldom have voiced their concerns. This paper examines the results of interviews with groups of female students and realizes that discrimination in employment against female students is widespread and nearly omnipresent. Most female students choose to go along with rather than adopt a proactive attitude to combat against the gender-based discrimination they face.To change the status quo,it is necessary to establish social networks to support female students seeking employment and to adopt legislative action to effectively hold those who show gender-based favoritism accountable for their conducts.
