现代诗学把原本为一种修辞格的反讽逐渐扩展为文学审美化的关照和表现生活的艺术手段、哲学态度甚至创新与结构原则。由此,反讽已成为文学研究与批评中的一种重要理论武器。除了小说叙事中最显性的言语反讽外,从弗吉尼亚.伍尔夫意识流小说创作中所设置的多变的叙事距离出发,探讨其意识流经典之作《达洛卫夫人》中所展现的独具魅力的叙事反讽艺术。

In modern poetics,the connotation of irony,traditionally a rhetoric device,has been gradually extended into an art device,a philosophical inclination and even an innovative and structural principle for the pursuit of literary aesthetics and representation of life.It is doubtless that it has become an important theoretical equipment for literary study and criticism.Apart from touching upon its commonest kind — Verbal Irony,this paper attempts,mainly through the aspect of various narrative distances set by Woolf,to explore Woolf's art of irony in the classic stream-of-consciousness novel Mrs.Dalloway.
