浅析英语新闻的语言特色

本文从英语新闻角度出发 ,研究了英语新闻的语言特色方面的问题。与同类研究相比 ,本文旨在突出研讨新闻英语的写作格式和语法结构 ,以及英语新闻的要素、语态、时态和词汇等方面的问题 ;分别介绍了研究英语新闻语言特色的必要性、英语新闻标题、导语和正文的语言特色、英语新闻中词汇的主要特点 ;对英语新闻中各种不同句式问题进行了讨论 。

We examine the linguistic features of English news stories issue in this study from the English news perspective. Different from previous research, this paper wants to emphasize the importance of familiarization of the linguistic features in the study of English news stories. In what follows, we want to discuss the essential elements of news stories. There are five parts in this paper. We start with a brief introduction to the importance of more exposures to English news. Then we deal respectively with linguistic features of English news titles, the lead and the body of the news, and the peculiarities of vocabulary in the English news. An additional discussion of varied sentence structures is also provided. Some useful implications obtained from this study include the importance of a close study of the linguistic features of English news stories and necessity of cultivating a good habit of being exposed to English news on the students' side.
