A further discussion on the relations between memory and listening comprehension

听力理解过程中的“瓶颈”现象是普遍的 ,它是短时记忆容量局限的一种突出反映。本文通过实验分析 ,探讨短时记忆与英语听力理解的内在关联 。

The bottleneck phenomenon is very common in listening comprehension. It is a conspicuous reflection of the limitation of the capacity of short-term memory. This article tries to prove the inner links between short-term memory and English listening comprehension, to discuss how to improve the capacity of short-term memory and to deal with the problems of listening materials, teaching and learning methods by means of experimental analysis.
