随着计算机的日益普及 ,多媒体技术的日趋成熟 ,机助语言教学 (CALL)将成为外语教学的趋势 ,这已成为共识。本文介绍了东南大学与上海外语教育出版社联合开发研制的《大学英语·精读》(修订本 )多媒体助教型教学光盘 ,并着重介绍了该光盘开发的背景 ,设计的理论 。

It has become a common understanding that with the popularization of computer and the improvement of multimedia technology Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) will be the trend of foreign language teaching. This paper intends to give an introduction of a courseware for classroom teaching - College English Multimedia Courseware for Classroom Teaching - Intensive Reading. It expounds not only the background and theory of developing the courseware but also the contents and characteristics of the courseware.
