建国后十七年中国少数民族戏曲事业发展的历程。通过对各地区、各民族新老剧种的源流、剧目、艺术形态等多方面的考察 ,论述了有关少数民族戏曲的形成规律、艺术特征、继承革新、发展走向及民族戏剧工作中的经验教训等问题 。

The paper summarizes the development of the Chinese minor nationalities dramas of seventeen years after the founding of the Peoples Republic of China. Through a general investigation of origins ,plays an forms of old and new types of different places and nationalities, it discuses following questions such as the law of formation, characteristics, innovation and future development so that we can know the experience and lesson in dealing with the minor nationalities dramas. It is a macro research of the Chinese minor nationalities dramas.
