谚语是一个民族智慧的结晶 ,反映了本民族绚丽多彩的文化特色。本文探讨了英汉谚语中反映民族文化特征的几个方面 :地理环境、宗教信仰、风俗习惯。
Proverbs are the crystallization of a nation's wisdom and have reflected various features of that nation's colourful culture.This paper has studied various aspects reflecting English and Chinese cultures in proverbs.These aspects include geographical conditions,religion,custom and habit ,literature and history,cultural exchange.
