Problem of PUTONGHUA in the Designing of the Questionnaire on the Survey of Chinese Language Situation

本文主要就在中国语言文字使用情况调查大纲、问卷的设计和试验调查中遇到的与普通话有关的几个问题进行探讨。文章共分三部分：（一） 普通话和方言的理论界限与普通话和方言在实际调查中的判定标准问题。（二）普通话程度的调查方式和方法及普通话与方言判定应遵循的原则。（三）普通话和方言、方言和方言接触所产生的理论问题。

The paper discusses several problems of PUTONGHUA emerging from the designing of the questionnaire on the survey of Chinese Language Situation. Three things are mentioned: 1. how to tell the difference between PUTONGHUA and Chinese dialects in practical surveying;2. different ways of different surveying of the degree of PUTONGHUA; 3. the theoretical problems emerging from the contact between PUTONGHUA and Chinese dialects, and the contact between different Chinese dialects.
