在日语科技文献翻译过程中经常遇到大量的日语外来语，译好日语外来语是翻译科技文献的关键。本文从日语外来语的来源、现状和发展趋势入手，阐述了外来语在日本语言发展过程中所起的作用和目前泛滥的外来语给日语文献的翻译工作带来的困难。并从①有效借助工具书；②总结外来语的规律，推断原文；③请教专业人士三个方面谈如何解决翻译过程出现的外来语，并对日语科技文献翻译过程中遇到的问题做了初步总结，并提出自己的观点。

A large amount of Japanese foreign words will be involved in the translation process of Japanese science and technology document,and the correct translation of these words is the key point to the document translation.This article illustrates the function of the Japanese foreign words in the developing progress of Japanese and difficulties which are brought by the overflow of these words from the origination,present situation and developing tendency of the Japanese foreign words.This article will tell you how to translate the foreign words found during the translation progress in the following three aspects:①available use of reference book.②summarize the regularily and deduce the original text.③consult to personnel in the specific field.In addition,this article summarizes the difficulties we have met in the translation of Japanese science and technology document and the author will put forward his own opinion.
