摘要
自主音段音系学是后ＳＰＥ 一个重要音系理论。本文介绍了自主音段音系学产生的动因及其层级模式。尽管其产生是为了解决声调及元音和谐，但其非线性层级模式在体现其它超音段音系现象方面发挥了很大的作用。
As Autosegmental Phonology is one of the important phonological theories since SPE, an introduction is given to the motivation for the development of the theory and its hierarchical model. While tone and vowel harmony provided the original motivation, the non linear representations proved to be very useful to represent other suprasegmental features.
