市场经济的道德走向与个人的伦理责任

The morality trend and the individual ethic responsibility in market economy

:判断实行市场经济体制以后的社会道德走向 ,应从分析市场经济对人的行为有何改变入手。市场经济对人的最大改变就是允许人利己或追求利益最大化 ,并不必然导致损人利己。关键在于社会的制度安排是否合理。中国目前之所以会出现“道德滑坡” ,是因为新旧规则体系正处转换期。尽管恢复正常道德生活的根本在于能否尽快重构社会规则体系 ,但个人此时也有个人的伦理责任 :其一是积极参与社会规则的制定与看护 ;其二是在面对社会规则的“空场”时 ,要注意守住自己的良心。

To judge the social morality trend under the market economy circumstances, we should begin with analysing the impact that market economy exerts on individual behavior. The most significant impact on individual behavior is that market economy entitles individual to pursue his personal maximum benefit, which may not necessary result in benefiting himself at the expense of others, if the social system is rational. The reason why the so-called moral declination occurs is that China now has been undergoing the transforming period from the outdated social system to a totally new one. Although the reconstruction of social system is urgent and critical for the recovering of normal morality, individuals also shoulder their responsibility. For one thing they should actively participate in formulating and observing the social rules; for another, they must preserve the conscience of themselves in case of the void of social rules.
